Moms Quit

Who is able to join?

Women who:

  1. Are 36 weeks pregnant or less

  2. Are at least 18 years of age 

  3. Are current users of any form of tobacco during this pregnancy OR used any form of tobacco in the 3-month period prior to becoming pregnant 

  4. Live in, or see a healthcare provider in Texas

  5. Have access to a smartphone and are able to download apps

  6. Can read, write, listen, and speak in either English or Spanish

Smokers living with a main participant (pregnant woman) in the Moms Quit program are eligible to participate if they:

  1. Are at least 18 years of age 

  2. Are current users of inhalable tobacco products OR quit since the main participant became pregnant OR quit 3 months prior to the main participant becoming pregnant. 

  3. Live in, or see a healthcare provider in Texas

  4. Live with the main participant when joining the Moms Quit Program and will continue to live with the main participant 6 months after the baby’s delivery  

  5. Have access to a smartphone and are able to download apps

  6. Can read, write, listen, and speak in either English or Spanish

Smoke-Free Homes

Who is able to join?

Women who:​

  1. Are at least 18 years of age

  2. Live in a home where at least one person smokes (using cigarettes, vaping, and/or e-cigarettes), including the women themselves

  3. Live in, or see a healthcare provider in Texas 

  4. Can read, write, listen, and speak in either English or Spanish
